New Capability

Your Brand.
Our Craft.

From first tasting to finished product, our private label manufacturing programme helps retailers, hospitality groups and beverage brands create a genuine Ceylon tea range that's entirely their own.

Private Label Capability

Everything Between the Leaf and Your Logo

Building a private label tea range usually means coordinating sourcing, blending, packaging design, format selection and compliance, often across multiple suppliers. CTPE brings all of that under one roof. Drawing on nearly thirty years of sourcing and exporting Ceylon tea, we work with partners from initial concept and tasting through to finished, export-ready product carrying their own branding.

Whether you're an independent retailer launching your first tea range or an established international brand expanding your portfolio, we'll guide you through every stage of the process—from the first tasting to repeat production and export.

We work with retailers, hospitality groups and beverage brands at every stage, from a single trial batch to an ongoing, repeat-run programme.

Blend Development

From Brief
to Blend.

Every private label programme starts with understanding what your customers expect to taste, then building a blend that delivers it, consistently.

01

Brief & Tasting

We start by understanding your brand, your market and what your customers expect from a cup of tea, then guide you through tastings of teas and blends that match that brief.

02

Sourcing & Blending

Our tasting and sourcing team selects and blends leaf to your agreed profile, drawing on relationships across Sri Lanka's tea-growing regions and seasonal harvests.

03

Sample Approval

You receive trial samples of the finished blend before any production run is confirmed, with adjustments made until the profile is signed off.

04

Repeat-Run Consistency

Once a blend is approved, we keep a record of its profile so every subsequent production run tastes the way your customers expect, season after season.

Packaging Formats

Your Brand, Across Every Format

Once your blend is approved, it can be packed in whichever format suits your range and your market: loose leaf pouches and tins, traditional or pyramid tea bags, K-Cup-compatible capsules, gift packs and presentation boxes, or bulk formats for iced tea and foodservice. Each format can carry your branding on the primary pack, the bag tag or sachet, and the outer carton.

If you're not sure which format fits your audience, our team can talk through the trade-offs in cost, shelf presence and shipping, including our newer pyramid bag, K-Cup and iced tea capabilities, and help you settle on a starting range.
